The Internet is truly an amazing place and it's no wonder that it's now a part of our everyday lives. We use it to do research and to get information, we use it to communicate with people from across the world and so much more. The list of benefits of the Internet is really too long for me to write it all down.

Unfortunately though, the Internet in the wrong hands can do more harm than good. I'm talking about children here. While the Internet and a computer can also help teach them new things, they could also accidentally be exposed to more mature and sensitive material. This means that the computer will shut off at scheduled times or when a certain amount of data has been downloaded from the Internet. Parental control software can also help you stop personal details (such as your child's name, address and so on) from being sent out.
